What is concrete?

Concrete is mixture of cement, sand, gravel, water & air. Through a chemical process, concrete hardens to become a rigid structure.

Construction methods

Concrete is typically constructed over a compacted sand or gravel base. Once the area is graded for drainage, prepared and compacted, forms are placed and the concrete poured to the desired shape and thickness. Concrete hardens over time; initial hardness is typically achieved in 5-7 days, with full strength hardness in approximately 28 days.
